On 8.5"x11" 110lb acid free paper, using speedball watersoluble printers ink

Ravens were extirpated from the region (South Ontario) where I live. Now that they've made a comeback, I still get excited every time I see them fly overhead, or hear them speak, "Gronk, Grack" or "pic!" or another other raven speech. Welcome back, Raven!

This original work of art was created by rolling out layers of watersoluble ink onto a gelatin plate, and with gentle hand-pressing, the ink is transferred to the paper. This is a multilayered print (called 'overprinting' in the world of fine art-printmaking). Hand-cut original stencils were used. I place them randomly and play with colour combinations just to see what happens.
