This adorable little owl was handbuilt of stoneware clay. It was incised with textures and then rubbed with iron oxide before being gas fired to give it a lovely primitive finish. Three feathers from a rooster form its tail along with a hammered copper finished wire curlicue. The owl stands on two copper wire legs on a solid oak block. Truly an original piece, perfect for the owl lover or anyone that loves a gift that is unique & whimsical. This would look lovely on a desk, shelf or sill.
